Ammos Café & Bistro is an award-winning independent Greek café and bistro in the heart of Newmarket. We are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, quality food, and authentic Greek hospitality. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Front of House and Kitchen teams.
Front of House Team Member
Responsibilities
* Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
* Taking customer orders and processing payments
* Serving food and beverages efficiently and professionally
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
* Assisting with opening and closing duties
* Working collaboratively with the kitchen and management team
Requirements
* Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Previous hospitality or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
Kitchen Team Member
Responsibilities
* Assisting with food preparation and service
* Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
* Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and well-stocked
* Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
* Following recipes and preparation procedures
Requirements
* Passion for food and hospitality
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Strong attention to detail
* Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
