Duties
- Supervise and support the daily activities of care staff, ensuring adherence to care standards and policies
- Lead the development and review of personalized care plans tailored to each service user’s needs and preferences
- Assist service user with daily living tasks such as mobility, personal hygiene, nutrition, and medication management
- Foster open communication with service users, families, and team members to ensure transparency and trust
- Oversee the implementation of IT systems used for documentation, scheduling, and care planning purposes
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor service users’ health status and respond promptly to any changes or concerns
- Support new staff training and ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of care
Experience
- Proven experience working in a domiciliary care settings
- Supervising or leadership experience within a healthcare or social care setting
- Familiarity with creating, implementing, and updating care plans in accordance with regulatory standards
- Strong communication skills essential for liaising effectively with service user’ families and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to use IT systems for documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks efficiently
- Valid driving license
- Knowledge of current regulations related to senior care services
