You’ll play a key role in shaping a high-profile programme, working with driven student-athletes and supporting both their academic success and sporting development.
What you’ll be doing

Delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across BTEC Level 3 Sport.
- Planning, assessing and tracking learner progress to ensure positive outcomes.
- Providing academic and pastoral support to help students succeed.
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the Sport provision.
- Contributing to the delivery and growth of the Advanced Football Programme.
- Creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment that promotes independence and ambition.
What we’re looking for

Experience in sport education, lecturing, or coaching.
- Knowledge of BTEC Level 3 Sport programmes
- A football background (coaching, playing, or programme delivery).
- A passion for motivating and supporting young people.
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to learner success.

Any successful candidates will be required to complete a structured training pathway, unless they already hold the relevant qualifications. This includes a two-week teacher induction (must be completed within probation), followed by the Award in Education and Training (AET) including Assessor is required, and then the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher (LST) apprenticeship. Completion of this structured learning programme is expected within 3 years. Furthermore, there is the option to pursue Qualified Teacher Learning Status (QTLS).
