We are now looking for a permanent Driver & Server/Fryer to join the team in St. Austell Walkers Fish Restaurant & Takeaway. This is a varied role combining food delivery driving with kitchen and counter duties. You will help ensure customers receive their orders quickly while supporting the team during busy service periods.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver customer orders safely and efficiently helping us bring our delicious fish & chips to doorsteps across the St Austell area
- Assisting in the preparation, frying and serving of food, ensuring a clean and hygienic Restaurant at all times
- Processing orders using the till system, taking cash and card payments whilst providing friendly and professional customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Support the team during busy service times
What we are looking for:
- Full UK driving licence (Category B auto at a minimum)
- Experience in Food Preparation and Cooking
- Ability to work under pressure and un-supervised
- Level 2 Food Hygiene or Above (desired)
- Previous takeaway, kitchen or delivery experience is preferred
- Able to take initiative and take pride in their work
- Excellent Customer service and outgoing personality
- Flexibility to work to the rota is key
- Must be aged 18 or over due to the use of hot oil/frying equipment
