Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our team. In this vital role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, database design, and project management to transform complex data into actionable insights. Your analytical skills will support strategic decision-making and drive business success through advanced visualization tools and robust data management practices.
Duties
- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and other visualization tools to communicate key insights effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for data analysis projects.
- Design, implement, and optimize database structures using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relational databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Conduct thorough data analysis utilizing R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and SQL to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Manage project workflows adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Perform business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement through data-driven strategies.
- Create detailed documentation using Visio for system architecture, workflows, and process mappings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data analysis with strong proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and VBA.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and experience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies to manage analytics projects from conception through deployment.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with business analysis techniques and tools such as Visio for process modeling.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
