Job summary
We are looking for passionate, reliable and dedicated Italian teachers to join our growing educational team in the Leamington Spa area.
Our school is recognised by the Italian Consulate and works in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Education to promote the Italian language, culture and heritage within the local community.
Although we are a relatively new school, we are already building a welcoming, professional and supportive environment for both teachers and students. Our aim is to create a strong educational community where teachers can share ideas, develop their skills and make a meaningful contribution to the future of the school.
The successful candidates will deliver engaging Italian language lessons to students of different ages and ability levels. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who are enthusiastic about language education, enjoy working with children and would like to grow with a developing educational project.
Contract and Commitment
The position is offered on an annual contract.
For this reason, we are particularly interested in dependable and committed teachers who understand the importance of continuity for students and families. We are looking for professionals who can make a genuine commitment for the full academic year and who would like to contribute their ideas, experience and enthusiasm to the development of the school.
We value teachers who do not simply want to deliver lessons, but who want to become part of the team, support the wider project and grow with us over time.

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessments.
- Communicate professionally with parents or guardians regarding students’ progress, participation and any relevant concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop lesson content, improve the curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in school meetings, cultural activities and occasional events where required.
- Follow the school’s safeguarding, behavioural and educational policies.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong command of the Italian language.
- Experience teaching or tutoring Italian at one or more levels.
- Experience working with children or young learners.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- The ability to motivate students and make lessons engaging and accessible.
- A professional, organised and dependable approach.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.
- A genuine interest in Italian culture, language and education.
Experience in a classroom or educational environment is preferred. However, applications from entry-level candidates will also be considered where they demonstrate enthusiasm, responsibility, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Knowledge of special educational needs teaching strategies would be an advantage but is not essential.
As the role involves working with children, successful candidates may be required to complete the relevant safeguarding and DBS checks.
