Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Podiatrist/Chiropodist to join our healthcare team. As a Podiatrist/Chiropodist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating foot, ankle, and lower leg disorders. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' quality of life through expert foot care in affluent area of London.
We have the highest quality equipment for podiatry for a range of clinical applications to ensure the best treatment, healing and pain management options can be combined to standard podiatric therapies, drugs and treatments to help the patient.
K-Laser Cube and INDIBA for MSK rehabilitation and pain management. K-Laser Cube and K-Laser Blue for verrucas, onychomycosis and in-growing toenail surgery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet, ankles, and lower legs
- Diagnose and treat various foot conditions such as corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, verrucas and fungal infections
- Have opportunity to use state of art podiatric equipment, including latest therapy and surgical lasers for podiatric enhanced treatments
- Perform minor surgical procedures on the foot and ankle when necessary
- Prescribe orthotic devices and medication to address foot issues
- Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate medical records of patient consultations and treatment plans
Experience
- Must hold a valid Podiatry degree and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Previous experience working as a Podiatrist is desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with patients
- Ability to educate patients on foot health and treatment options
- Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining electronic health records
