We are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. Job
- 06:00 to 14:00 Mon to Fri & 14:00 to 23:00 Mon to Thu
- 2 weeks on mornings / 2 weeks of late's rotation
- Temp to perm for the right candidate
- Weekly pay
- 30 min lunch paid
Duties
- Operate specialised production equipment in accordance with company procedures
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of products, ensuring consistency and quality
- Conduct regular quality checks and record inspection data accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area to meet hygiene standards
- Perform basic mechanical tasks such as troubleshooting equipment issues to minimise downtime
- Complete documentation related to production processes, including batch records and safety logs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements
Skills
- Experience in production or manufacturing environments is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the production schedule
