We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Operative to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks within our organisation, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions. Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and organisation of materials and equipment for daily operations
- Working on a fast paced production / packing line
- Supporting production or logistical processes as required, including loading and unloading goods
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Operating basic machinery or tools under supervision, adhering to safety protocols
- Supporting team members with ad hoc tasks to facilitate efficient workflow
- Reporting any issues or hazards promptly to supervisors for resolution
- Participating in regular safety briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar operative or manual role is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit, with the ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work responsibilities
