We are seeking dedicated and proactive Support Workers specialising in Intensive Housing Management to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to assess their needs and develop individualised support plans that promote housing stability and personal growth.
- Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, including managing appointments, medication routines, and budgeting tasks.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients, landlords, social services, and other stakeholders to negotiate solutions and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor clients’ progress regularly, adjusting support strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, support plans, and progress notes using Yardi or similar case management systems.
- Conduct regular safety checks of the housing environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Offer emotional support and motivational guidance to help clients overcome barriers to independence and housing retention.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housing management or social support roles, preferably within intensive support settings.
- Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients’ needs while balancing landlord and agency requirements
- Excellent communication skills—able to listen actively, empathise genuinely, and articulate clearly across diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and organisational priorities.
- A valid driver’s license is desirable but not essential.
