Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable team of basement underpinners. The successful candidates will be responsible for stabilising and underpinning basement structures, ensuring safety and compliance with building standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, technical proficiency, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team on various construction sites.
Duties
- Assist in the excavation and preparation of sites for basement construction.
- Assist of Drainage and package pump systems.
- Assist Formwork and shuttering - traditional timber and aluminium formwork systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
- Operate hand tools safely and efficiently as required.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundwork or basement construction is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.
- Full clean driving licence is preferred.

Pay: £120.00-£170.00 per day
