Allcap requires a warehouse support / delivery driver person for our Gloucester branch.
We supply fixings/fasteners, tooling and consumable products to our customers in the manufacturing, engineering and construction sectors across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Job description
This full time role is a combination of supporting the warehouse function operations and delivery driver with a local run completed each day.
Our ideal driver will be reliable, a quick learner with good problem-solving skills and come with great customer service skills. Your ability to treat our customers with respect, pack and handle fragile products with care will be key to your success in this role.
We expect our staff to be physically fit, energetic with a “can do” attitude. You must also be computer / mobile phone literate to a reasonable level.
The full role attracts core hours Monday to Friday of 08:30 – 17:00 with half an hour break each day.
A FULL UK Drivers licence with no driving disqualifications within the last three years is of course essential
You will be fully trained in basic warehouse support work, delivery routes, customer care, and product management.
