We are urgently looking for a CAD Designer ideally with facade (or similar) experience to join our team on a full time basis. The role is based from our office in Wincham, Northwich with free on site parking. The job is not a work from home role due to the collaborative nature of the role.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings based on project requirements
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand design specifications
- Use CAD software to generate accurate and precise technical drawings
- Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
- Review and modify existing designs to improve functionality or address issues
- Communicate with team members to coordinate project timelines and deliverables
- Conduct quality checks on completed designs to ensure accuracy and completeness
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role with specific facade/glazing experience
- Proficient in using CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to design and drafting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
Job Type: initial 6-12 month contract which is likely to lead to a permanent role for the right candidate with relevant experience and skills
Pay: £35,000-50,000.00 per year depending on experience
