We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded Dental Practice Manager with a minimum of twelve months' practice management experience to lead our growing mixed NHS and private dental practice in Croxteth.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving business growth, developing private and specialist services, and leading high-performing teams while ensuring outstanding patient care and regulatory compliance.
Reporting to the Principal Dentist, you will oversee the operational, financial, and people management of both practices, acting as the CQC Registered Manager and ensuring excellent standards across all areas of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing clinical and non-clinical teams
- Managing recruitment, training, rotas, appraisals and performance
- Driving private revenue, patient growth and treatment uptake
- Monitoring KPIs, chair utilisation and practice performance
- Supporting the development of specialist services, including implants, orthodontics, oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Managing compliance with CQC, GDPR, Health & Safety and clinical governance requirements
- Overseeing budgets, stock control, diary optimisation and practice systems
- Supporting marketing, social media and patient engagement initiatives
Essential
- Minimum 12 months' experience as a Dental Practice Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to improve performance and grow private income
- Excellent understanding of CQC compliance, governance and GDPR
- Commercially focused with outstanding communication and organisational skills
- Confident using dental practice software and Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Level 4 (or above) qualification in Dental Practice Management or Leadership
- GDC-registered clinical background
- Experience with treatment coordination and private case conversion
- Familiarity with CBCT and intra-oral scanners
- Full-time hours
