About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑driven Shop Merchandiser to take ownership of store standards during our key evening trading hours. Working Monday to Friday from 4pm to 9pm, you will ensure the store remains clean, well‑stocked, compliant, and customer‑ready at all times.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who takes pride in presentation, organisation, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining exceptional store standards throughout the evening shift
- Completing cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment
- Restocking shelves and ensuring strong product availability
- Conducting POS checks to ensure accurate pricing and promotional compliance
- Carrying out audit checks to support brand and operational standards
- Performing date checks to ensure product freshness and legal compliance
- Ensuring planogram compliance in line with CO‑OP merchandising layouts
- Cleaning and maintaining Costa Express machines to brand standards
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe back‑of‑house area, including stockroom tidiness and equipment care
- Supporting the wider team with general shop duties as required

- Comfortable in a fast‑paced retail environment
- Understanding of compliance, safety, and brand expectations
- Retail or merchandising experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
