Summary
Serenity Specialist Care is looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our team in GB. You will support young people aged 8–18 with challenging behaviour and EBD, helping them develop independence, confidence, and emotional well-being. This role includes sleep-in shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, personalised care and support
- Support young people with challenging behaviour and EBD
- Assist with daily routines, meals, medication, and activities
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
- Maintain clear and accurate care records
- Work closely with the team to provide consistent care
- Take part in sleep-in shifts when required
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people, especially those with EBD or challenging behaviour
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Ability to manage physical and emotional demands of the role
- First aid qualification preferred
- Driving licence beneficial but not essential
- Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and consistent care
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.75-£13.10 per hour
