The Asda Foundation & Community Communications and Projects Advisor plays an important role in helping Asda and the Asda Foundation create positive change in local communities across the UK.
Working across communications, project delivery and programme administration, you'll support the successful delivery of community initiatives that make a real difference to people's lives. You'll create engaging communications, coordinate projects, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and help demonstrate the impact of Asda Foundation funding and wider community programmes.
Collaborating closely with Community and Customer Champions, store colleagues, charities, and internal and external partners, you'll help bring community programmes to life, support continuous improvement, and contribute to innovative solutions that strengthen engagement and maximise community impact.
Programme Delivery & Administration
- Support the planning and delivery of Asda Foundation grant programmes, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for applicants and stakeholders.
- Assist with the delivery of the Asda Foundation Colleague Hardship Fund and emergency support programmes, processing applications sensitively, accurately and in line with programme guidelines.
- Support the delivery of the Colleague Match Funding Programme, helping colleagues access funding for causes that matter to them.
- Coordinate programme timelines, reporting and key operational processes.
- Support the review of grant applications and funding recommendations.
- Assist with monitoring activities and impact reporting. Ensure all programme activity is delivered in line with governance, compliance and safeguarding requirements.
- Create engaging communications to promote grant programmes, community initiatives and funding opportunities.
- Support the development of content on OneAsda the colleague knowledge platform/hub content, newsletters, guidance materials, web content, social media content and programme updates.
- Capture and share impact stories, case studies and beneficiary feedback that bring programme outcomes to life.
- Work with internal teams to communicate programme milestones, successes and community impact.
- Support communication and engagement with Asda Community and Customer Champions across the business.
- Help develop Champion resources, guidance and operational communications, responding to Champion enquiries and provide day-to-day support where required.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of Champion training, webinars, events and engagement activities.
- Support the delivery of key projects across the team.
- Assist with programme launches, evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare reports and support stakeholder engagement activities.
- Use insight, feedback and impact data to help shape future programme development and improve ways of working.

- Experience using data, insight or reporting to demonstrate impact and inform decision-making.
To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
