Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our team in a dynamic food production environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of production lines while adhering to strict food safety standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet production goals.
Responsibilities:
- To produce a high volume of good quality products such as yogurts, kefirs, mascarpone cheese, etc.
- Working closely with highly technical Ultra Filtration plants by controlling flow rates, plant pressures. Learning to preserve membrane life by following detailed procedures and taking responsibility and ownership of running the plant efficiently.
- To follow all production plans to ensure orders are completed on time in full
- To adhere to all technical requirements, operating procedure and health & safety policies
- To assist in training other personnel to ensure that they work efficiently and safely as applicable
- To contribute to improvements in production processes to increase efficiencies, reduce waste, and improve quality
- To work with the Production Management team by supporting the business in a flexible manner
Experience
- Ideally experience in working in a production or manufacturing environment
- Any machine running and monitoring is an advantage. Along with the desire to improve the current systems by problem solving and Continues improvement.
- Ability to understand food safety practices and health and safety, for which you will be given in-house training
- Food industry experience would be a plus
- We expect you to be a good team player, have positive attitude and ‘can do’ approach
