Events Coordinator
Salary: £26,000–£28,000 + Benefits | Hybrid (3 days in the office) | Derby
Are you highly organised, customer-focused and passionate about delivering exceptional events? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing sports events business, supporting the delivery of youth football tournaments, rugby festivals and netball events across the UK.
Working alongside experienced Event Managers, you'll play a key role in coordinating bookings, managing customer communications, organising travel and event documentation, supporting logistics, and helping to ensure every event runs smoothly from planning through to delivery. You'll also support the Sports Tours team during peak periods, making this a varied and rewarding role with plenty of opportunity to develop.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the planning and delivery of UK sports events
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers throughout their event journey
- Coordinating bookings, travel documentation and event logistics
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving queries professionally
- Working closely with colleagues and suppliers to deliver outstanding event experiences
What we're looking for
- Excellent organisational and administration skills
- A customer-first mindset with strong communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident IT skills and a proactive approach
- An interest in sport, travel or events would be an advantage
What to expect
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
- During the peak events season (March to June), you'll be expected to attend approximately 75–80% of weekend events, giving you the opportunity to be part of the live event experience. Time off in lieu is provided for weekend working.
- £26,000–£28,000 DOE
