We construct, own, and manage our own network of state-of-the-art Bio-CNG public access refuelling stations, procuring our own 100% renewable Biomethane. Our Bio-CNG is derived entirely from biomethane extracted from waste materials such as food, animal, and wastewater. It undergoes independent verification and is sanctioned by the Department for Transport’s Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO).

Role Overview:
CNG Fuels are recruiting for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of the civil engineering phase of our renewable biomethane refuelling stations across the UK. The successful candidate may be required to work away for up to two days a week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery is carried out safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

- Conduct Health and Safety audits and prepare detailed reports.
- Perform PPE compliance spot checks.
- Compile monthly Health and Safety statistics and submit reports to the Health and Safety Manager.
- Carry out and upload quality assurance inspections in accordance with issued construction drawings and specifications.
- Monitor project budgets and milestone payments and attend financial meetings with stakeholders and contractors.
- Track site programme progress, produce comprehensive progress reports, and participate in progress meetings.
- Review contractor Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) and ensure adherence on site.
- Conduct pre-construction feasibility assessments.
- Prepare detailed pre-construction cost estimates.
- Coordinate pre-construction activities.
- Coordinate on site activities with contractors and subcontractors.
- Liaise with Senior Project Managers and provide regular updates on site activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent in construction or civil engineering.
- Managers and Professionals CSCS card.
- Proven experience in civil engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of H&S and quality assurance procedures.
- Strong IT skills.
- Good leadership skills.
- Good communication skills.
