First 4 Drains Ltd is a fast-growing commercial drainage and utilities business working with facilities management companies, property managers, councils, utilities and large commercial clients across the UK.
We’re now hiring a Junior Business Development Manager to help drive growth by booking qualified sales meetings and reactivating existing clients.
This is an entry-level sales role with real progression, not a call-centre job.
The Role
Your job is simple and important:
generate qualified sales meetings and opportunities for our senior sales team.
You will:
- Make outbound calls to existing, lapsed, and targeted new clients
- Book qualified meetings for senior sales staff
- Re-activate previous clients and promote planned / repeat work
- Follow up by email and LinkedIn
- Log all activity accurately in the CRM
You are not expected to close deals — your focus is activity, qualification, and pipeline generation.
What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day
- Making 30–50 outbound touches per day (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
- Booking 10–15 qualified meetings per week
- Working from call lists, scripts and target sectors
- Asking the right questions to qualify opportunities
- Keeping CRM records clean and up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Confident phone manner
- Comfortable speaking to businesses and decision-makers
- Motivated, resilient and target-driven
- Organised and willing to follow a process
- Sales, telesales or appointment-setting experience is helpful but not essential
