Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic School Cleaning Operative to join our team in Evesham. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and touchpoints regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
- Restock consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll supplies as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for all users
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to the designated supervisor
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special event cleaning requirements to support school activities
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within educational settings
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment throughout shifts
- Reliable with excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
