Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food efficiently and courteously to customers in accordance with company standards
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock supplies as needed and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal licensing requirements
- Engage with customers to foster a friendly atmosphere and handle any queries or complaints professionally
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Good time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
