Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication reminders, basic health monitoring, and emotional support
- Support seniors with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments or outings
- Manage behavior challenges with patience and effective behavior management techniques
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams or family members
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and general senior care practices
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely when needed
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation for driving duties
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain required certifications is expected
- Excellent communication skills with a caring and respectful demeanor
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,119.88 per year
