Ash's Shop, is an award winning, family run, retail business based in Fenstanton.
Serving the community for 30 years, we pride ourselves on customer service, and a clean, well organised store. This was recognised, and we were awarded as one of the best convenience stores in the UK for 2018 and 2019. In 2021 we were awarded with 'Best Chilled Retailer' from the Retail Industry Awards, as well as 'Best Small Convenience Store'.
We are a busy retail store, and will look to develop your skills across the business.
All we require is a good attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
What we expect of our candidates
- Over 18 (age restricted products)
- Comfortable using a touch screen, and handling money
- Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy
- Positive Attitude
- Strong eye for detail
- Flexible when required
- Driving License is preferred
Working in our busy environment likes ours is physically demanding, working quickly and efficiently during delivery days and filling the shelves is a big part of the job.
If selected for a role, we will interview candidates, and inform you of our decision.
It is preferable that candidates have experience in food safety, but not essential. We will require individuals to do an online course in food safety / hygiene (paid by us)
While no previous experience is necessary, candidates will need to display a level intuitive thinking
