The Role
We are currently seeking a Parts Controller to join our service team. If you have experience in parts management and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our service operations running smoothly, acting as the link between our field engineers, suppliers, and customers. From sourcing specialist components to managing stock levels, you’ll help ensure our fleet remains operational and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Procurement – Identify and order parts based on engineer reports and operational requirements.
- Quotations – Prepare accurate and professional quotations for parts and labour, balancing competitiveness with profitability.
- Stock Management – Maintain effective stock control through regular cycle counts and management of workshop and van consumables.
- Warranty & Returns – Manage warranty claims and manufacturer returns from start to finish.
- Supplier Relationships – Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing and lead times.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a parts department (material handling, plant, automotive, or similar industries preferred).
- Strong commercial awareness and pricing ability.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
- The ability to prioritise routine tasks alongside urgent breakdown orders in a busy environment.
Pay: £30,000.00 per year
