Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Balmore Country House in preparing delicious meals in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Pay labelled is not accurate, salary will be discussed at interview stage
Hours - 3 Days Per Week + Alternative Weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and resident orders
- Assist in menu planning and developing new dishes
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with food safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Cook in a restaurant or kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Pay: From £12.44 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nottingham NG11 6NY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
