We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our educational team. The successful candidate will work closely with children who have special educational needs, providing tailored support to facilitate their learning and development. Monday - Friday | Full Time | Term Time Only
Duties
- Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning programmes for learners with special educational needs.
- Support children with autism, disabilities, or behavioural challenges to ensure they are engaged and included in classroom activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support during lessons, ensuring individualised attention.
- Help organise and supervise activities that promote social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is highly desirable.
- Prior teaching or support experience within a special education setting or working directly with children is essential.
- Knowledge of special educational needs (SEN), including strategies for supporting children with diverse learning requirements.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting children's individual needs.
- Enhanced DBS

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
