About the Role
As a Day Care Assistant, you'll support residents with their daily routines while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
You'll build meaningful relationships with residents, providing compassionate care and helping to make every day as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care
- Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Encouraging independence and choice
- Supporting residents to participate in activities
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred care

Location & Travel
Towy Castle Care Home is located near Carmarthen and is commutable from Llanelli, Ammanford, Llandeilo, Cross Hands, Kidwelly, St Clears, Whitland and surrounding areas.
Due to the rural location of the home and limited public transport options, applicants should be able to travel reliably to and from Towy Castle Care Home for all shifts.
Important Information
This role works a permanent 7:00am–5:00pm shift pattern on a 3 days on / 3 days off rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
