Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Coach Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting players and supporters to and from our football matches.. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain the vehicle in good condition. A strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Drive the Coach along designated routes, ensuring timely and safe transport of passengers.
- Maintain the vehicle by performing routine checks and reporting any mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including daily logs and incident reports as required.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a Coach Driver is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Mechanical knowledge to identify basic issues with the vehicle is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including late evenings, and weekends
