Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Part 2 Scaffolder to join our scaffolding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures to ensure safe and efficient access for various projects. Duties
- Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly to ensure stability and safety
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, and masons to facilitate smooth workflow
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly and disassembly tasks
- Follow detailed plans and technical drawings to assemble scaffolding accurately
- Maintain a clean work area, ensuring all debris and unused materials are safely stored or disposed of
- Assist with site safety checks and report any hazards or concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Part 2 Scaffolder
- Relevant certifications in scaffolding (e.g., CISRS Part 2) or equivalent qualifications
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to scaffolding work
- Ability to work at heights safely and efficiently
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift materials and work in various weather conditions
