Aim of Role:
The Fleet Project Coordinator will support the Group Fleet Manager in delivering fleet strategy, transformation programmes, vehicle replacement projects, supplier management, and day-to-day fleet operations projects across the Nurture Group. The role will be responsible for coordinating vehicle acquisition, conversion, mobilisation and quality assurance activities, ensuring the Group's fleet remains safe, compliant, cost-effective and operationally efficient.
The individual will act as a key liaison between operational teams, suppliers, manufacturers and fleet partners, driving continuous improvement across a fleet of 2,000+ vehicle. They will play a key role in supporting in delivering fleet projects, managing vehicle build quality, and ensuring operational requirements are met throughout the vehicle lifecycle
Roles & Responsibilities
· Work in our Key 2 Fleet Management System, a dynamic system encompassing all Fleet related tasks.
· Support the Fleet Administrators with day-to-day tasks such as licence checks, PCN’s, RFL, fleet compliance etc and support in refining and improving fleet processes as business requirements change
· Support Fleet Operations Manager with monthly reporting and other duties where required
· Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including documentation of trackers and incident reports
· Keep up to date with latest legislation & market conditions.
· Support the delivery of fleet transformation projects and replacement programmes across the Group.
· Manage vehicle conversion projects from order through to handover, ensuring suppliers meet agreed specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
· Undertake vehicle quality control audits and inspections, including review of livery, telematics, conversions, ramps, safety equipment, and ancillary fitments before vehicles are released to operational teams.
· Escalate quality, compliance, and supplier performance issues and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
· Track project milestones and maintain project plans for vehicle acquisition, replacement, mobilisation, and fleet integration activities.
· Produce management information and project reporting relating to fleet performance, vehicle downtime, supplier KPIs, costs, and replacement programmes.
· Support supplier review meetings and maintain action trackers to ensure agreed actions are completed within target timescales.
· Assist with ESG initiatives relating to fleet operations, including vehicle lifecycle management, recycling, emissions reduction, and sustainability reporting.
· Assist with acquisitions and business integrations, ensuring fleet assets, compliance, telematics, and supplier arrangements are transitioned effectively.

· Report all Near Misses and/or accidents to your line management

Person Specification
Relevant Education, Training and Skills:
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office / M365.
· Experience in Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables & VBA would be beneficial.
· Fleet Management Experience required ( 2 years ideally)
· Experience managing projects, programmes, or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
· The ability to research and collate information as required to perform role.
· Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate work.
· The demonstrable ability to establish and sustain good working relationships, and work individually and to remain calm and motivated under pressure
· Effective oral and written communication skills.
· Good organisational and time management skills.
Key skills and attributes:
