Labourer
Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00
Pay: £13.25 per hour | Weekly Pay

TLP Recruitment is currently recruiting 2 x Labourers to join our client's expanding operation in Felixstowe. This is an excellent opportunity to secure full-time, ongoing work on a new project, with full training provided and consistent weekday hours.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy physical work, take pride in working safely, and are looking to join a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within a busy container yard in all weather conditions.
- Unloading vehicles from shipping containers.
- Cutting and removing securing straps from containers.
- Removing loading frames and preparing them for recycling.
- Reconnecting vehicle batteries.
- Carrying out visual inspections for damage and recording findings with photographs.
- Sorting and disposing of recyclable materials correctly.
- Performing manual handling and lifting duties.
- Working in confined spaces, including tight spaces underneath and alongside vehicles within the container.
- Following all health and safety procedures and site regulations at all times.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse or other manual roles is advantageous, but not essential.
- A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling throughout the day.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces.
- Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
