Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate PhD Admissions Advisor with a strong academic background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree or current PhD student with exceptional understanding and experience in academia. This role requires engaging in academic and critical thinking and ensuring the coordination of research and academic activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Coordination: Oversee and coordinate academic projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients to understand and meet their academic needs.
- Collaboration with Experts: Work closely with academics from top universities globally, managing their availability and project contributions.
- Organizational Management: Manage and organize tasks across multiple time zones (UK and Asia), ensuring smooth operations.
- Communication with Colleagues: Regularly communicate with colleagues to ensure seamless coordination and information sharing.
- Academic Reviews: Provide detailed reviews and feedback on the work of academics to maintain high standards.
- Recruitment and Interviews: Recruit and interview new academics, providing them with feedback to improve and align with our standards.
- Document Review: Review academic documents for accuracy, coherence, and adherence to guidelines.
- Client Management Feedback: Provide academic feedback to our client management team to ensure client satisfaction.
- Liaison with Client Management: Work closely with the client management team to align on expectations and improvements.
- Feedback Integration: Take feedback from clients and management to continuously improve your own work and relay relevant information to tutors.
- Research and Learning: Proactively research and learn about new areas, such as specific school application systems, to enhance your knowledge and effectiveness.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise with tutors, ensuring minimal disruption to academic projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: PhD degree required, or current PhD student with excellent academic understanding.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in academia, with a strong capacity for academic and critical thinking.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills to work with selective academics and manage client expectations.
