We are looking for a reliable and experienced Landscaper to carry out a range of landscaping and grounds maintenance duties across multiple sites in Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard, ensuring client sites remain safe, attractive, and well-presented while delivering excellent service and supporting the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning, and maintenance of shrubs and plants.
- Weed control and removal.
- Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation.
- Litter picking and general site tidiness.
- Leaf clearance and seasonal landscaping duties.
- Hard landscaping tasks including fencing, paving, decking, and path maintenance where required.
- Operating landscaping machinery and equipment safely.
- Carrying out basic maintenance checks on tools and equipment.
- Applying pesticides or herbicides in accordance with company procedures and training (where qualified).
- Ensuring all work is completed to agreed quality standards and within timescales.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Reporting any site issues, hazards, or customer concerns to management.
- Maintaining positive and professional relationships with clients and members of the public.
- Assisting colleagues and supporting wider company operations as required.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, gardening, or a similar outdoor role
- Full manual UK driving licence (essential)
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexibility to travel and work away when required
- Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery safely
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible approach to work
Desirable
- PA1/PA6 Pesticide Application Certification.
- Experience in hard landscaping.
- Trailer licence.
- Relevant horticultural qualification.
- First Aid qualification.
Working Conditions
- Primarily outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Manual handling and physical activity required.
- Early starts and occasional overtime may be necessary to meet business needs.
- Travel between customer sites required.
