Please Note: This position is open on a self employed contract basis however we will provide the successful candidate with training and all the equipment required.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in school/ nursery environments. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and safe for all occupants.
Working Hours: 2.5h per daily - Monday to Friday
Shift Times: Key holder - Anytime after 18:00
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, classrooms and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces as required.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices in the workplace.
