Job Role – Support Worker
We are looking for reliable and experienced support workers to work alongside a young male adult with severe visual impairment who requires support to access the community, develop friendships, engage with peers and build on his confidence.
Ideally, this role would suit an applicant with experience/training in the following: LD, Visual Impairment (however training will be provided). The applicant will also need to be a driver with access to a vehicle for work to allow the service user to access his local community.
The applicant must exhibit a patient, bubbly and fun disposition and be motivated to make a difference to this man's life.
Situated: Macclesfield
Shifts: Tuesday - Thursday: £12.71ph
10.00AM - 16.00PM - Shift times may vary slightly dependant on activity schedule.
(You will be integrated into an established team, we can provide hours from 6-40+ hours per week, you will be required to work a minimum of two weekends a month)

Tordan Healthcare Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience within the Health & Social Care sector
- Full clean driver's license
- NVQ Level 2 (Minimum or working towards obtaining)
- Experience of providing complex care (e.g. Autism, Tracheostomy etc.)
- Content on working alternate weekends
