We're looking for a part time front of house member here at South Street Kitchen; located in Sheffield's iconic Park Hill flats. We're a not-for-profit middle-eastern inspired vegetarian and vegan café with regular events and bistro nights.
We are looking to fill this role for late August - Early September
The role will require you to work mostly day time shifts, weekend shifts & some evening availability will be required.
The responsibilities include:
- Giving excellent service to guests.
- Working in a fast paced cafe environment.
- Serving customers at the table.
- Making the cafe look presentable after guests leave.
- Learning the menu and offering recommendations to customers.
- Making drinks; soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and cocktails.
- Till operation and bookings system operation.
- Being flexible with working hours.
- General cleaning, deep cleaning and maintenance of the cafe.
- Great telephone manner.

Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
