The Home
This is a large, purpose-built care home in Northfleet, Gravesend, providing specialist care for residents with complex and advanced dementia needs alongside nursing, palliative and respite care.
The home provides a specialist environment designed around the needs of people living with dementia, with dedicated nursing and care teams, secure outdoor spaces, en-suite bedrooms and a strong focus on person-centred care.

The home is now looking for an experienced Home Manager to provide strong, visible leadership, bring consistency to the service and continue developing a positive culture across the team.
The Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Home Manager to take ownership of a sizeable and established dementia service within a reputable national care provider.

You will be a visible and hands-on leader who is comfortable working within a large service and able to bring people with you through change.
You should be confident setting standards and holding people accountable, while also having the emotional intelligence to understand your team, develop talent and create a positive working environment.
You will ideally have experience of:

- Supporting residents with advanced or complex dementia
- Leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
- CQC compliance, governance and quality assurance
- Safeguarding, risk management and care planning
- Recruitment, retention and staff development

- Building effective relationships with families and external professionals
- Managing the operational and commercial performance of a care service
Above all, you will be passionate about dementia care and committed to creating an environment where residents receive high-quality, person-centred support and staff understand what good looks like.
What You Will Bring
This role would suit a Home Manager who is looking for more than simply maintaining the status quo.
You will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the home, its residents and its team through strong leadership, consistency and a clear focus on quality.
We are particularly interested in speaking with managers who have experience in complex dementia, specialist nursing, high-acuity care or other challenging care environments.
Candidates do not need to be nurse-qualified provided they can demonstrate the right level of operational leadership and complex dementia experience.
