Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) lessons tailored to diverse student needs and proficiency levels
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that promote active learning and language mastery
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence-building among students
- Monitor student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and share best practices in language instruction
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and performance for reporting purposes
- Adapt teaching strategies using IT tools and resources to enhance learning experiences
Skills
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills to effectively convey concepts and motivate learners
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, manage classroom activities, and track student progress
- Effective teaching abilities with a passion for helping students achieve their language goals
- Good IT skills to utilize digital platforms, online resources, and educational software in lesson delivery
- Knowledge of plumbing is not required but demonstrates versatility; however, familiarity with basic technical troubleshooting can be advantageous in supporting classroom technology setup

- Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules or student needs in an ad hoc teaching environment
