So, what will I be doing?
Yeo Valley Farms is a Regenerative Organic farming business and consists of 2000 acres, 340 Pedigree British Friesian milking cows, 160 heifer replacements, 500 beef animals, Agroforestry, Arable, all over and around the Yeo Valley and Mendip Hills in Somerset. We have a new and exciting role for someone to come and join us on our farming journey. The farm has excellent facilities and equipment, based in a beautiful part of North Somerset.
The successful candidate will have the excellent opportunity to become an integral part of an established team where they will play an important role in working with us to further develop our regenerative approach to farming in harmony with the environment. We will put you through structured training and development, which means you will be continually trained throughout your employment from basic manual handling courses to health and safety talks, from calf rearing to telehandler training. Attending vet talks, and learning from regenerative experts to apply their knowledge to develop yourself and the business.

Sounds interesting, what do I need?
- To be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, who can work well alone and as part of a team.
- A positive can do attitude with a willingness to learn and try new farming techniques.
- Previous farming experience is desirable but not essential We do a lot of in house training to help develop your knowledge and skills within the role.
- Farming qualifications desirable.
- Tractor and telehandler experience and certification preferable, but training will be given if not
- Have excellent attention to detail and a high standard of work regarding cleanliness, tidiness, animal welfare, communication, etc.
- Clean driving licence essential
- Be Health and Safety conscious
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- A willingness to want to learn and develop.
