Brand: Seven Districts Coffee
Location: Sutton on Sea, Lincolnshire
Position: Full-Time
Who We Are
At Seven Districts, we don’t just brew coffee; we tell stories. Inspired by the rich folklore and heritage of Lincolnshire, we are passionate about delivering exceptional specialty coffee, incredible food, and a warm, community-focused atmosphere.
Our Sutton on Sea site brings our signature specialty coffee experience right to the coast. We are looking for an energetic, coffee-loving, and organized Assistant Store Manager to join the family, support our Store Manager, and help us keep the good vibes flowing alongside the caffeine.
The Role: What You’ll Do
As our Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the shop floor. You will split your time between crafting excellent flat whites, leading our passionate team of baristas, and ensuring the day-to-day operations run like a well-oiled espresso machine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by Example: Maintain our high standards of specialty coffee preparation, food presentation, and customer service.
- Team Support: Help train, motivate, and mentor our team of baristas to deliver consistent, welcoming service.
- Operational Smoothness: Support the Store Manager with stock control, ordering, rota management, and health & safety compliance.
- Community Champion: Build genuine connections with our Sutton on Sea regulars and visitors, making everyone feel like a local.
- Quality Control: Ensure the dial-in is perfect, the milk is silky, and the shop is looking immaculate at all times.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who is as passionate about people as they are about specialty coffee.
- Experience: At least 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment (specialty coffee or cafe experience is a massive plus!).
- Coffee Skills: Solid barista skills. You should know your way around an espresso machine, understand extraction, and be able to pour a decent bit of latte art (or be eager to perfect it).
- Leadership Style: Supportive, proactive, and positive. You lead with a smile and know how to keep a team motivated during a busy weekend rush.
- Organization: Great eye for detail, reliable, and comfortable handling basic admin and stock management.
Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Company pension
- Discounted or free food
- Employee discount
