An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Infrastructure Team for a Senior Infrastructure Analyst who will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, operation, and ongoing support of the Trust’s digital infrastructure.
The post holder will provide technical support for server, cloud, backup and virtualization platforms. Ensuring systems are secure, resilient, and aligned with the Trust’s Digital Strategy. The role requires extensive hands-on technical expertise, strong project management capability, and the ability to provide expert advice and leadership within a complex healthcare environment.
To contribute to the strategic planning and technical development of systems and services for all stakeholder organizations within specialized areas. This will include the proposal, writing of and amendment of draft documents, provision of specialist technical advice and coordinating meetings and workshops.
To work with the IT Infrastructure Lead at a senior level to develop policies and procedures and facilitate testing that applies to the acquisition, management and use of information technology equipment, services and hardware across the stakeholder organizations.
To work with the IT Infrastructure Lead and other Infrastructure members to develop, maintain and test disaster recovery and business continuity policies and procedures for the IT service and assess how these policies will impact on all areas.
Take responsibility for capacity management, system monitoring, preventative maintenance, and lifecycle planning.
To identify and recommend the specification of various IT hardware and software in relation to the development of the technical infrastructure.
