Apples and Honey Nightingale is an Ofsted Outstanding nursery based near Wandsworth Common. We are looking for an organised and proactive Business Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team. You will lead our finance, administration and HR functions, helping to create the strong operational foundations that ensures the nursery runs smoothly.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head Teacher, you will lead the day-to-day business operations of the nursery, including:
· Finance and budgeting
· HR and payroll
· Administration and business systems
· Early Years funding
· Compliance, safeguarding and GDPR
· Operational planning and reporting
Key Skills
We are looking for someone with:
· Strong financial management, budgeting and bookkeeping experience.
· Experience of HR administration, payroll and business operations.
· Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite and financial or nursery management software.
· Good knowledge of compliance, safeguarding, GDPR and business systems.
· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
