Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, following all safety protocols and legal requirements
- Verify prescription details, including dosage, medication type, and patient information to prevent errors
- Assist in medication inventory management by stock checking, ordering supplies, and organizing storage areas
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance on proper usage
- Support medication administration processes when required, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatment plans
- Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, inventory logs, and patient interactions in compliance with privacy regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery to patients
Skills
- Proven pharmacy dispenser experience with a strong understanding of dispensing procedures and pharmacy operations
- Knowledge of medication administration techniques and safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise dispensing and recordkeeping

We are looking to recruit a dispenser to join our team. Candidate would preferably be qualified and have some pharmacy experience, however training may be provided to the right applicant.
Hours would be Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30 with 1 hour lunch break
Rate of pay will be dependent on experience.
Pay: £13.35 per hour
