Overview
We're looking for a friendly, reliable and adaptable Hotel Assistant to join our small team at Monifieth Farm Hotel.
This is a varied role where you'll work across reception and housekeeping . No two days are the same and you'll play an important part in creating a warm and welcoming experience for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to contribute to a welcoming environment for our guests. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional service at the front desk whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the hotel. Previous hotel experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. This paid position is ideal for those looking to develop their career within the hospitality industry.
What We Offer
- £12.71 per hour
- 16 hours per week, normally across 2 shifts - there may be the option for additional shifts/hours. Shifts are 7AM-3PM & 3PM-11PM

The Role
You'll support the day-to-day operation of the hotel by working across a variety of areas, including:
Reception
- Welcoming guests and handling check-ins and check-outs
- Responding to guest enquiries, requests & complaints
- Maintaining cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards
- Work with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Housekeeping
- Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and public areas
- Handling linen deliveries and maintaining stock levels
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to, including hygiene standards during cleaning procedures
Experience
Full training will be provided. Previous experience in all areas is desirable but not required.

Previous hospitality experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
