Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and passionate Bartender to join our team at Banchina Italian. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, takes pride in crafting quality drinks, and understands the importance of delivering exceptional guest experiences both at the bar and on the floor.
The ideal candidate will be professional, organised, and confident behind the bar, with a strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, and spirits. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with guests, maintaining high standards, and developing within a quality-driven restaurant environment.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Bartender at Banchina Italian, you will be responsible for the preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standard. You will create classic and contemporary cocktails with precision and consistency, serve wines and spirits with confidence, and ensure all drinks are presented in line with brand standards.
You will maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area at all times, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering and inventory management where required. During service, you will work closely with the floor team and kitchen to ensure smooth communication and efficient timing of drinks and food service.
The role also involves engaging warmly with guests seated at the bar, handling payments accurately, following licensing laws and company procedures, and supporting the wider team during busy periods to maintain a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone with proven bartending experience, ideally within a quality-led restaurant or bar environment. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine service, and premium spirits is essential.
You should be confident, personable, and able to remain calm and organised under pressure. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong team mindset are key. A genuine passion for hospitality, quality ingredients, and delivering memorable guest experiences is essential, along with a willingness to learn, grow, and take pride in your craft.
