The Role
We're looking for adaptable Primary Supply Teachers who enjoy variety and can confidently deliver engaging lessons across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Assignments will mainly involve daily and short-term cover, helping schools maintain continuity of learning when class teachers are absent.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Adapting teaching to meet pupils' individual needs
- Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Providing feedback to class teachers where required
- Ensuring pupils remain motivated and on task throughout the school day
What we're looking for
We'd love to hear from teachers who are confident, flexible and passionate about primary education.
You should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools
- Experience teaching in EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to quickly adapt to different school environments
- A professional, reliable and flexible approach
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
