Summary
We are seeking a Class 2 Driver with Nights Out to join our team at Cargo Express in. This role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries across the country while supporting our commitment to excellent service. Secure parking is paid for by the company, as well as £26.00 night out allowance each time required.
£100.00 bonus when joining the business. Paid as £10.00 for the first ten working shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently across designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Deliver goods to various locations while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Manage paperwork accurately and adhere to delivery schedules.
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
- Qualifications
- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving license.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to undertake nights out as required.
- A professional attitude with a focus on safety.
