About the Role
Zing Environments Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Manager to lead the cleaning operation at a school in Sheffield.
As Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all cleaning services across the site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer service are consistently delivered. You will lead and support a team of cleaning staff, carry out regular quality audits, liaise closely with the school, and ensure all services are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily cleaning operation across the school site.
- Supervise, support, and develop the cleaning team.
- Conduct regular cleaning audits and quality inspections.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Act as the main point of contact for the school and respond to any cleaning-related queries or emergencies.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, attendance, and performance.
- Assist with recruitment, induction, and training of cleaning staff.
- Monitor cleaning standards and implement continuous improvements.
- Maintain stock levels and oversee the ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Complete administrative duties and provide reports as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within cleaning environments.
- Experience working within educational settings is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £12.71-£18.72 per hour
